From the 2010 - 2011 MGC President

Greetings,

Welcome to the website for the Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) at the University of Texas at Arlington! The Council is composed of ten of the most intriguing and outstanding fraternities and sororities on campus: Delta Alpha Omega Multicultural Fraternity, Inc., Delta Alpha Sigma Multicultural Sorority, Inc.,  Lambda Theta Phi Fraternidad Latina, Inc., Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Sorority, Inc., Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc., Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc., Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority, Inc., Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc., and Theta Chi Omega Multicultural Sorority.

With the rich and diverse backgrounds that emphasize the purpose of our Council, we strive to present the fraternal experience to those that are interested in Greek Life. Our purpose is to educate the community about the benefits and exciting experiences that take place when joining one of the many Greek organizations on campus. Additionally, we aspire to nurture the individuals into becoming a great leader within their peers by providing them unlimited resources to achieve success during their years at the University.

This upcoming year, the MGC has numerous events planned for all new freshmen and returning students. We will be taking part in this year’s Homecoming events, a welcome BBQ outside the UC Mall to start off the semester with a bang, where you will see countless organizations come out and exhibit themselves by strolling, stepping, hopping, and everything else you can imagine!

We can’t leave out our most important event each semester, the "MGC Showcase", where our ten organizations present their new members in an entertaining probate that will leave everybody amazed.
